Hello and welcome back to Transfer Talk where today we discuss Donny Van De Beek’s future at Man United, whether Arsenal, Man United or Liverpool will be able to land RB Salzburg sensation Patson Daka this summer and whether Jose Mourinho should look to continue pursuing Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic.

As if that wasn’t enough we also break the news that David Alaba has rejected Thomas Tuchel, discuss his 3 man centre back shortlist and pour cold water on rumours linking Juventus’ Aaron Ramsey with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

And finally we discuss whether Danny Ings is good enough to replace Sergio Aguero at Man City. With rumoured targets Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku set to cost well over £70m, would Ings with 1 year left on his contract this summer be a sensible and crucially affordable signing for Man City this summer.

  1. Van De Beek is excellent player, who does NOT fit the man utd playing style. We don't seem to want to hold the ball for the sake of holding the ball like Barcelona or Man City… we prefer playing more direct style, more physical game. Van De Beek is not a Bruno substitute, because they do completely different things. Bruno tries to create a chance or shooting opportunity with every chance. VDB wants to "walk" the ball into net. In a double pivot he might be able to work, but he would need specific instructions of only ball progression, but i think he played like 1 game in that position. He is young, so either he will readjust his game or he will leave. I would trade him for Sancho any day.

  2. Ings won't leave Saints for several reasons. 1) Because Ralph has guaranteed him a new contract and 2) He knows that going to a top 5 club again will lead to the same lameduck situation he was at with Liverpool. So he knows his place is at a Europa team like Saints are and finally 3) Pep will get a long term person and it might not be Haaland as it is rumoured in Catalonia that Pep is returning if he wins the quadruple. They claim he will move for Messi's swansong years and restore Barca to dominance again with young world class talent and teaching Xavi his ways so he can become literally Pep's replacement and someone who carries the Cruyff philosophy into the modern era. I can see that happening in the next few years as Laporta has saved Messi from leaving and I can see MSN reuniting once again soon- so yes Suarez and Neymar will be back in two or three years once PSG win the Champions League and when Neymar's saga starts all over again.

  3. I keep forgetting Van de Beek plays for United lol. Best move for both parties might be a loan move with an option to buy, that allows Donny to play in such a way for United to not be forced to sale too low on him

  4. Well wow Van De Beek you just screwed up everything up by leaving ajax just to become benchwarner at United, look at ajax they forward the progress to get an final from second time if they beat roma and wait a team to face them, and now you thought you could replace pogba but sadly pogba never leaves and will stay, maybe you should go to Inter or Atletico Next season,United style of play dont fit in from you

  5. Van De Beek is an unbelievable talent! Do your research guys before doing the simple accusation as any plastic football followers do and assume it’s because “he plays the same position as Bruno”
He doesn’t at all play the same position, he’s a completely different player, and players a completely different way, he’s more defensive for a start, as a avid Man United fan, I will throw it out there, Yes Bruno is outstanding, but as an “All Around Player” Van De Beek is debatably actually better than Bruno.
The reason he’s not in the team if you did your research which not many know, and makes me laugh when I read from apparent “Man U” fans similar to what you said at the start of the video concerning the situation.
The reason is because he’s a pain in the back side, and keeps on moaning to his agent, and his agent keeps threatening with Donny leaving and unlike Liverpool and most other clubs who give in if signed a big money move, they feel like they have to play them, best example Arsenal with Pepe, and later on Ozil. Because they try justifying the move and wages.
Ole’ simply turned around and said, “you want to leave? Bye bye”
So get all your facts right, be a real football fan not a trouble making conspiracy theorist idiotic fool!

  6. It just sucks how you give a lot of years for one club and for them to just sell you like nothing 😞 it happens all the time in football but Aguero is one of my top favorite strikers . I know he still has a lot to offer to Elite Clubs . I don’t know about athletic Madrid tho . He should try a new path , a new journey !!!! a new league !!!!!

  7. If City actually brought Ings in it would be a really dumb move, he proved he was a good player after he joined Southampton, but he's far from being at the level of a Man City or any other elite club

  8. Hold on. Kieta off Liverpool hasn’t played many games in 2 years and cost double the price of donny. Last season cancelo played like 5 games for Man City. If it takes one player to settle in longer then others don’t start speculating he’s unhappy untill uno the facts
