Bayern Munich, Dortmund or Man City: Who’s the most enjoyable team to watch right now? | ESPN FC

Who’s the best football team to watch in Europe right now? Is it Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City who continue to sizzle as they inch closer to an historic quadruple? Maybe it’s Bundesliga’s winning machine Bayern Munich who have maintained their dominance domestically and in Europe, or perhaps it’s Erling Haaland’s Borussia Dortmund, who despite having an up and down season always keep you on the edge of your seat? ESPN FC’s Steve Nicol includes all three of the aforementioned clubs in his “Watchability Power Rankings” with a couple of surprising add-ons thrown in for good measure.

  1. As a Bayern fan I would say that maybe City is overall the best team in europe at the moment. Considering every aspect of a football team even how big a squad is. It's the same as it was while Pep was the bayern munich coach. Tiki taka, much ball possession, high press etc. That's the way how you win on and on and on against teams who are much worse than you. But a big question mark imo is what happens when city play bayern or psg in the semifinal who are probably better than every other team they played in this season till now. I acctually don't know.
Contrary bayern currently don't play with so much dominance, tiki taka and ball possession city do. But I like their style more because it's quickier, more directly and they are pushing better forward scoring goals. Not so many passes around. I know that as a bayern fan I could be a bit biased but that's just my opinion.

  2. At the moment, City is my number one. They've been playing some beautiful football. I feel like I'm watching human chess pieces on a pitch, and when City plays against a great team with a great tactician at the helm who uses somewhat of a similar play style, it is just too beautiful for words… two teams creating magic on the pitch.
